The ADINA SUMMIT is established with the aim to harness the collective potential of the global African Diaspora towards economic progress in Africa, and in the African Diaspora community.

The ADINA SUMMIT ACCRA will be our 9th conference and brings together African public- and private sector leaders, the African Diaspora and other international Africa-interested stakeholders. Investment opportunities will be highlighted and shared with a keen audience.

The ADINA SUMMIT intends to inspire, educate and connect. Previous editions were held in Amsterdam, Accra, London and Dubai.

FOUNDER BIO

Terry Afram is a Dutch-Ghanaian entrepreneur born and raised in the Netherlands, but of Ghanaian heritage. He is the Managing Director of Bridge Partners, an advisory firm which bridges the gap between the international markets and Africa, facilitating trade and investments. The company also specializes in attracting and structuring Diaspora investments into Africa. Bridge Partners has been organizing the renowned global ADINA African Diaspora Investment Summits to inspire, educate and connect the global African Diaspora towards investing in Africa. Terry also owns a luxury clothing brand, GINGÁ. Their garments are produced in his factory in Accra, and tailored with the finest international fabrics for global patronage.

Terry started his career in Ghana as the Country Managing Director for tech firm Jumia, the first unicorn on the African continent. He was able to significantly grow Jumia Food Ghana into a healthy seven-figure venture and is passionate about seeing other ventures grow to achieve the same, to the benefit of the local African economies.

Before Terry moved to Ghana to lead Jumia Food, he worked as an investment banker in the Sub-Saharan Africa M&A team at Goldman Sachs where he advised on Mergers and Acquisitions.

Terry Afram is a TEDx speaker and has been recognized for his business success by the Future of Ghana 30 under 30, The Chartered Institute for Marketing Ghana (CIMG), and the Black Male Achievers in the Benelux among others.

Terry also writes for the Volkskrant, the largest Dutch newspaper, and highlights African stories and perspectives.
